For years, the Eye Care Charitable Foundation has been dedicated to advancing social services, encompassing outreach eye screenings, the cataract surgery program, the myopia prevention program, and the telescreening program. These efforts have benefited a vast number of underprivileged individuals and have garnered widespread support and recognition from all sectors of society.
These achievements have been made possible through the collective efforts of volunteer ophthalmologists, clinic nurses, volunteers from various fields, and students. To express gratitude to the volunteer team for their years of dedicated service, the Foundation specially organized this dinner event. It provided an opportunity for everyone to interact in a relaxed atmosphere and share their achievements.
During the banquet, Dr. Ruby Ching, Chairman, briefly reviewed the achievements of the past year and looked ahead to the future. She expressed hope that through the sustained efforts of the volunteer team, more underprivileged individuals in need could be assisted, thereby continuing the mission of “We Care, We Serve.”
