The Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT Machine)
We have successfully applied for HK$400,000 from the Hong Kong Club Foundation for the purchase of an Optical Coherence Tomography(OCT) machine, which can more accurately screen patients suffering from various eye diseases including glaucoma and maculopathy, and help to refine the diagnoses.
In order to make our services more accessible to the people in need, we have partnered with the Community CareAge Foundation (CCAF) in Sham Shui Po. A team of volunteer doctors from our organization are regularly screening patients of the CareAge Nurse Stations. The Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) machine is stationed at that site for detailed eye assessment.
